Comeback keeps Basford in hunt

BASFORD cemented their spot in the play-off zone with a stunning second-half comeback in an absolute thriller at Bower Fold.
It was the veritable game of two halves with the home team dominating the first. Jonathan Ustabasi gave them a deserved lead in the 38th minute, forcing the ball home after a well-worked free-kick, and leading scorer Darius Osei netted his 13th of the season with a superb cross-shot right on half-time.
Basford weathered a mini storm at the start of the second half, both Max Taylor and Harry Freedman striking the woodwork, before turning things around...
