The Scholars had the edge in an entertaining first half and should have gone ahead just on the half hour when Ben Ward-Cochrane broke clear to cross for Josh Hutchinson and he set up Brad Sach whose goal-bound shot was well saved by Amadou Tangara in the Rocks’ goal.
