■ALEXANDER Akrofi’s double ensured Aveley moved to the top of the pile in the North Division as they produced a convincing win over Witham Town.
George Sykes opened the scoring for the home side in the 29th minute and just before the break Akrofiadded a second.
Aveley came out firing in the second half with Harry Gibbs adding to their tally and Akrofisealed the result with his second in the 65th minute.
