DIPO AKINYEMI’S goal just before the interval was enough for Welling United to claim three points against Chippenham Town.
Chris Zebroski shot wide from distance almost straight from the kick-off as Chippenham started the faster then Dan Wilks had to get down well to save from Scott Twine. Still on the front foot, they came desperately close to taking the lead soon after when Nat Jarvis’ near-post header came out off the far upright.
