YOU’VE got to feel sorry for Scott Rickards and his management team at Atherstone Town.
Taking a Step 6 side to the quarter-finals of the FA Vase is every young manager’s dream but now he has been forced to stand down just two weeks before the big game due to the on-going club that the club has with racist fans on the terraces.
Talk about shooting yourselves in the foot?
Thankfully Scott is a man with morals and he will be rewarded with better elsewhere.
