NO.1 FAN IN £10K BOOST TO PORT

SUPERFAN Paul Newnham has handed Southport a welcome boost to see them through the unforced break – a whopping £10,000 handshake.
Paul and his local company, Pinetree Garden Maintenance, are one of the National League North’s side biggest sponsors and this week handed over a cheque to Sandgrounders’ boss Liam Watson to make up for lost gate receipts and revenue earned through the club’s Haig Avenue stadium.
