Summer fun with an extended pre-season

NON-LEAGUE football surely should be able to continue with the higher Step 1 and 2 leagues catching up on lost fixtures into over the summer and during ‘pre-season’.
If necessary, we could always delay the start of 2020-21 slightly and extend it to allow for a later start so not to ideally reduce fixtures as clubs rely on gate money and bar/kitchen matchday revenue to survive.
However, one issue to playing over the summer could be a shortage of players, volunteers and something could be arranged to cover this if necessary.
