CASH-HIT WELLS IN £20,000 APPEAL

TUNBRIDGE Wells have launched an SOS appeal for £20,000 to secure their future after losing fixtures through bad weather followed by the early ending of the season through the coronavirus pandemic.
A club statement accompanying the gofundme.com appeal said that the virus has exacerbated what was already a difficult situation.
“An extended period of inclement weather has meant that the football club hasn’t played a Saturday home fixture in 2020 and our last home game of any kind was Tuesday, January 7,” said the Southern Counties East Premier Division club in a statem...
