MAGPIES TURMOIL AS VITAL TRIO QUIT

WESSEX Premier championship challengers Alresford Town face extinction after manager Richard Luffman quit along with the chairman and secretary in the wake of the FA’s decision to cancel the season.
Luffman, whose side were four points clear at the top of the table, quit as soon as he heard that the FA was looking to null and void Steps 3-7, thus ending the Magpies’ ambitions of a first ever promotion to the Step 4 Southern League.
