FA CUP HOPES LEFT IN DOUBT

MARK HARRIS, chairman of the Northern Premier League, says suggestions all Non-League clubs will have to miss out on next season’s FA Cup are wide of the mark - but believes there must be realism around the competition.
With no known start date for the 2020-21 season, much of football is feeling in the dark.
Due to the FA’s broadcast commitments, the first round proper of the FA Cup is set in stone as the first week in November, but it makes for tricky planning when it comes to the earlier rounds.
