RUSH JOB ENDED UP MISSING THE POINT

ONE of the key pieces of information to come out of the FA’s meeting with Step 5 and 6 Leagues last week is that all the levels in the Pyramid are tied together.
Effectively, it means that from the National League down to Step 7, the leagues will all restart on the same date next season, hopefully in September.
However, it has led some people to question why those Steps are bound together now when they weren’t a few months ago.
By late March, the FA had announced that Steps 3-7 would be made null and void for the 2019-20 campaign.
