JOCKEY HIT WITH BET BAN

NEWMARKET Town boss Michael Shinn has pledged to stand by defender Joe Robinson who has been banned from all football-related activity for 10 months as a result of betting breaches.
The 23-year-old former Ipswich Town, Boston United, Bishop’s Stortford, Cambridge City and Kings Lynn Town centre back was handed the punishment follow a personal hearing with the FA. He was also fined £100.
