KENNINGTON chairman Jon Lancaster says the club’s inaugural appearance in the FA Cup comes as scant reward - after the players’ trip to Benidorm was cancelled!
The Kent club may be the oldest team in the county (formed in 1880), but this will be their first time playing in the FA Cup after getting lucky with the participation draw made this week.
The Ton were unfortunate not to be promoted from Step 6 last season having been top of the table with six games to go when the season was finished in March.
