DEVITT’S MOVE TO SEADOGS

SCARBOROUGH Athletic have signed defender Tom Devitt and goalkeeper Lloyd Allinson - but neither could inspire the Seadogs to victory on Thursday night.
Centre-back Devitt has joined from National League North side Blyth Spartans having previously played at Gateshead and in America for USL League Two side Lionsbridge.
Allinson has represented Huddersfield Town, Chesterfield, FC United of Manchester, Guiseley, Ashton United and, most recently, Gainsborough Trinity.
Both started in Scarborough’s mid-week 3-1 defeat at Marske United in the North Riding FA Senior Cup semi-finals.
