TRIALISTS IMPRESS FOR RAMS

RADCLIFFE earned a promising draw in an entertaining clash against higher-league RAMSBOTTOM UNITED.
Lee Fowler’s side went ahead after 12 minutes through an Andy Owens penalty but a trialist levelled the scores with a superb curling effort six minutes later for the NPL Premier Rams.
Three minutes later, the away side led when a trialist sent a stunning free-kick in off the bar. An exciting first half was capped when a Matty Crothers cross deflected in via a post to bring Radcliffe level.
