Busy Welsh adds to his new Shakers

BURY AFC manager Andy Welsh has continued his signings of higher league players in his bid to win promotion from Step 6 at the first attempt.
Striker Mitch Bryant, last season’s top scorer for Colwyn Bay with 14 goals, has checked in at the new Shakers, who will play their debut season in the North West Counties League Division One North.
Central midfielder Tony Whitehead, who spent six years at Irish First Division side Limerick, has joined from Stalybridge Celtic. Former Fleetwood Town and Radcliffe right-back Matty Williams has moved from Mossley.
