IT’S been quite some journey for Consett chairman Frank Bell. Just under a decade ago, he announced grand plans to open up the club to the community and set them on course to progress up the Non-League pyramid.
Their Belle View home is now a hub of activity throughout all seven days of the week and things are progressing quickly on the pitch too.
Under new manager Terry Mitchell, the Steelmen have shone in the Vase. Bitton stand in their way and the two sides will meet in County Durham for the chance to face either Hebburn
