Virus hits coaching system

THIS week we have seen a number of County FA’s coach development officers losing their jobs across the country.
This comes on the back of the recent scrapping of the coachmentoring scheme.
I am also led to believe that a number of courses are being retired these include Goalkeeping Level one, two and Futsal. Where will this leave the grass roots and the national game?
I think it is worth highlighting how a coaching system so rich in our game and an enthusiasm for club staff to get qualified seems to have been mothballed.
