LEAMINGTON chairman Jim Scott does not believe an arbitrary U-turn away from ‘elite’ status would fix National League North’s Covid quandary - even if it might suit his club.
Being considered part of professional sport for government guidance allowed last season to get completed but that same call now acts as a millstone for Step 2 clubs unable to open their gates to fans.
