CLARETS CLAIM A BACK-UP

CHELMSFORD City have signed former Hamilton Academical goalkeeper Jacob Marsden, who will be dual-registered with Isthmian North side Heybridge Swifts.
Marsden, 23, started off as an academy player at Ipswich Town before then playing for Leiston, St Ives and Needham Market.
Clarets boss Robbie Simpson said: “Jacob was with us for the early half of pre-season and has come back in the last couple of weeks.
“He’s an excellent goalkeeper - it’s important to have another keeper.
