PAUL ENNIS’S second-half screamer proved enough for FC United to defeat Curzon Ashton in appalling conditions at Tameside.
The Step 3 visitors led on 11 minutes when Regan Linney hit a venomous left-footed strike past Curzon keeper Theo Roberts from just inside the area.
However, the National League North hosts equalised 150 seconds later, Dan Lavercombe finishing excellent work down the left by Matthew Waters.
