MOREMAN’S TREBLE TOPS

A HAT-TRICK from Josh Moreman helped Peterborough Sports into the third qualifying round - but they were made to work in an entertaining tussle with Step 5 side Stansted.
Sports opened the scoring on 10 minutes after a great ball from Mitch Griffiths was headed home by Moreman.
Two minutes later, the home side doubled their lead - Maniche Sani bundling the ball over the line.
Stansted, however, then staged an unlikely comeback and by the half-hour mark they were level - Connor Hammond scoring the pick of the two goals with a fantastic free-kick.
