JACK MAZZONE’S brace helped Met Police see off an in-form Gosport Borough at Imber Court and bounce back from a midweek defeat to Swindon Supermarine.
Some great early play by the home side saw them grasp an early lead after a fantastic ball by Max Blackmore reached the foot of Sammy De St Croix, who pulled it across to Mazzone, who placed in a corner.
It was Met Police that had the better of the chances after a free-kick from Ollie Knight met the head of Mazzone who was denied his second by a fine save from Pat O’Flaherty.
