■DUNSTON emerged as winners from a five-goal thriller to go top of the table. They took the lead after 40 minutes, when Liam Thear calmly finished from a Jack Elliott delivery.
Prescot Cables, despite rarely breaking down the Dunston defence, equalised after 68 minutes through James Edgar and took the lead three minutes later thanks to Matty Hamilton.
Dunston had had enough chances during the game to win the game twice over, but needed Michael Hall’s bullet header from a corner to level after 77 minutes.
