BARTON thwarted Daventry Town’s fightback in an eight-goal thriller. Rovers went in front after just three minutes when Nathan Tshikuna curled home from the edge of the box.
Connor Vincent made it two with a dipping volley from 25 yards out and Bradley Bell appeared to make the three points safe just after half-time.
Two Jack Bowen penalties in six minutes got Town back in the game before Taylor Orosz’s shot came off the underside of the crossbar to put Town dramatically level just three minutes later.
