RYAN SHARMAN netted the game’s only goal as Cambridge pinched the points at Coggeshall.
In a match that started in bright autumn sunshine and ended in heavy rain saw City attack from the off and Seed Growers’ stopper Jake Jessup had to make a good save to prevent the visitors taking an early lead.
The goal came from a long throw on the right by Jonathan Herd which caused problems in the home defence and ending with Sharman scoring.
