BUCKS CAN’T BE BROKEN AFTER TAKING EARLY LEAD

A DISCIPLINED and resolute defensive performance secured the three points for the Bucks after an early Aaron Williams goal. There were only five minutes on the clock when Williams prodded home from close range, although defender Alex Nicholson appeared to get the final touch. Gateshead enjoyed plenty of possession, but should have been two goals adrift when Jason Oswell headed a gilt-edged chance wide.
