TAUNTON TOWN surrendered their unbeaten record this season after losing out to a well-organised Police outfit. It was a mediocre performance from the home side at odds with their midweek display in the FA Cup. That said, they started well, with Max Blackmore having to clear off the line and Police goalkeeper Rhys Forster touching over a Dan Sullivan header, before Gethyn Hill put another header narrowly wide.
