NATIONAL League top goal scorer Sam Barratt’s brace fired Maidenhead to a fifth successive league victory which takes them up to fourth in the table.
The Magpies forward has now scored nine goals in eight games for Alan Devonshire’s side, with his two strikes proving the difference against stuttering Chesterfield.
Barratt’s first strike came in bizarre fashion, with his low cross missing his team mates, but catching out Kyle Letheren in the Chesterfield to nestle in the bottom corner. And 16 minutes later Barratt would double his tally for the afternoon....
