Asante follows suit – but no more!

JAMES ROWE added fuel to the fire when leaving Gloucester City for Chesterfield – he took the Tigers’ star striker as well.
Rowe brought with him his 28-year-old front man Akwasi Asante, who he lured from Chester in the summer.
But as part of the deal, the National League North leaders have insisted that no other contracted players will be following them to Derbyshire.
Asante, the former Kidderminster Harriers, Grimsby Town, Solihull Moors and Tamworth striker, scored eight goals in ten appearances for the Tigers, forming a deadly partnership with Matt McClure....
