WHEN Chorley produced the shock of the FA Cup in beating Wigan Athletic only to find out they’d be facing high-flying Peterborough United in round two, any realistic hopes of progressing further looked well out of sight.
Going behind to a Jack Taylor strike after just 90 seconds didn’t help either but Jamie Vermiglio’s side had other ideas with loanee Connor Hall and Lewis Baines completing a miraculous turnaround to earn a third round home with Derby County.
