PREMIER League ace Kevin Phillips has gone back to his roots in a bid to save the club who made him.
Crisis hit Baldock Town have received backing from their most famous son as they look to secure their financial and long-term future.
Phillips, who went on to star for Watford and Sunderland, posted a video on social media after the struggling Spartan South Midlands League Reds – who groundshare at rivals Arlesey Town – launched a Crowdfunding campaign to safeguard its future amid the pitfalls of the pandemic.
