Combined Counties Premier Division leaders Sutton Common Rovers progressed after a 4-1 penalty shoot-out win at Kennington.
The visitors took the lead in the 38th minute when the ball rebounded around the box after a corner and it fell to Shawn Lyle, who smashed it home.
A spirited second-half performance led to the Southern Counties East Division One underdogs levelling in the 80th minute through Gary Lockyer.
