BOTH sides played their part in a superb match in which the home side came out victorious after a fine battle between play-off contenders.
The visitors were out of the blocks quickest, with both Ryan Seager and Craig Fasanmade testing the home keeper Ross Worner in the opening 10 minutes.
Havant took the lead in the 31st minute. A Josh Taylor corner was headed away back to him – he flighted a cross to the far post which defender Craig Robson met with a thunderous header into the corner of the net.
