ROBINS’ SUPREMO REVEALS SHAKERS EXCHANGE

A MAJOR investor at Ilkeston Town has revealed he has been in talks to buy stricken former Football League club Bury.
David Hilton says he has been in talks with controversial Shakers owner Steve Dale about a potential takeover at Gigg Lane but has failed to reach an agreement. Bury were expelled from the Football League back in August 2019, owing to long standing financial difficulties, and have yet to be placed back in the National League System despite repeated suggestions from Dale that an imminent return to playing is on the cards.
