Chairman pleas for go-ahead

ALVECHURCH’S senior side will “probably fold” if a “knife-edge” planning decision on homes set to be built on its current ground goes against developers.
That is the stark warning from chairman Richard Thorndike after the Southern League Premier Division Central outfit got dealt a hammer blow by planning officers at Bromsgrove District Council.
