Bognor Regis Town ace set for Accrington Stanley move

Manager John Coleman has a history of snapping players up from below the EFL and is close to securing his next.

Bognor Regis
ACCRINGTON Stanley have agreed a deal for their latest Non-League gem in Bognor Regis Town midfielder Tommy Leigh.

Manager John Coleman has a history of snapping players up from below the EFL and is close to securing his next.

Personal terms need to be finalised for the 21-year-old, who signed for the Rocks in 2019 from Baffins Milton Rovers.

Bognor will only be due compensation for the move owing to Leigh’s age, but manager Jack Pearce will be proud to see another player move higher.

“Tommy’s done very well in the relatively short time he’s been with us and deserves his chance,” Pearce told the Chichester Observer.

Accrington have enjoyed recent success in League One by bringing in strike duo Colby Bishop and Dion Charles from Non-League.
