It was Berwick’s final friendly ahead of the new Scottish Lowland season – and the Border outfit almost fell behind early on.
Reds’ Former Dover and Gateshead striker Steven Rigg was played in, only to be denied by Gers’ keeper Andy McNeil’s legs.
Rigg then cleared Callum Smith’s header from Graham Taylor’s corner off the line, the home side believing it had crossed.
