Kingstonian 2-2 Tonbridge Angels: Joe’s double not enough

KINGSTONIAN came from two-nil down to deservedly draw an entertaining encounter – after ex-Ks man Joe Turner had given Tonbridge a two-goal lead.

Ks had plenty of first-half moments but were denied clear chances by a well-organised Angels rearguard. And Turner provided the moment of the half on 39 minutes with his superb 25-yard free-kick.
Tonbridge were two-up on 52 minutes. Ricky Modeste was clumsily bundled over in the penalty box by Bryant Akono Bilongo after Ks messed up a short kick-out, and Turner gleefully thumped home the penalty.
