Trafford 1-1 Colne: Webb-Foster snatches a point

CHRIS Willcock’s era started for Workington with a win at Kidsgrove, thanks to a goal midway through the first half from Bradley Carroll.

TRAFFORD kicked off their campaign with a home stalemate with Colne.

After a couple of early Trafford half-chances had fallen to Mike Burke and recent loan signing Curtis Miller, a very cagey first half of no-risk football followed. But after 38 minutes it was Trafford who opened the scoring. A neat move through midfield ended with Matty Morgan supplying a pass for Burke to fire home.
