SHAKEEL Morris and Montel Joseph were the heros for Northwood as they salvaged an opening day point at Thatcham Town.
Woods were on the back foot for much of the first half and trailed to a Brad Pagliaroli goal shortly before the break.
Things looked even more bleak for the visitors when Alex Fragata was tripped in the box just before the hour, but Woods’ keeper Joseph dived to claw away Antonio Dembele’s spotkick from the bottom corner.
