LIAM SPINK struck the only goal as Bromsgrove Sporting picked up their first win of the season with a professional performance on a frustrating day for the Marketmen.
Spink rose highest to head home Leon Broadhurst’s cross just after the half hour, somewhat against the run of play.
Needham fashioned the majority of chances but failed to make them count.
Luke Ingram looped his header just over from Callum Sturgess’ cross – and that was punished by Sporting’s first real opportunity.
