A SOLITARY goal from Jack Mazzone was enough to secure the points for Met Police and bring the Peacocks’ winning start to a halt.
The home side, despite missing five players, should have got something out of the game after dominating the first half but could not put the ball in the net.
Ollie Chamberlain saw an early header touched wide by Met keeper Liam Beach, who also kept out Jack Goodall’s cross at the near post before tipping over a Toby Holmes header.
