WITHAM TOWN achieved their second league win of the season after they resisted a spirited fightback by Tilbury.
The first half hour had been even with Witham starting well with good combination play by A’maree Robinson-Jones and Adam Cheniti.
Witham looked more solid than of late with Billy Willis in midfield.
Tilbury were getting more men in attacking positions and they had a good 15-minute spell when they could have taken the lead.
