■ EVESHAM United withstood a barrage of second-half pressure to take a hard-fought victory at Paulton Rovers.
Rovers went ahead on ten minutes after Dan Cottle was fouled and Leighton Brown converted the penalty.
But the lead lasted just five minutes, however, after Jamie Lucas clipped the cross bar and Karnell Chambers followed up to head home.
Evesham went in front on the stroke of half-time when Lorcan Sheehan headed his side in front from Chambers corner.
