Danny hits winner in his 100th game

ATHERTON Collieries edged out a tight contest against Grantham Town, thanks to a second half-winner from Danny Lambert on his 100th Colls appearance.
The first opportunity of the afternoon fell to Grantham but Danny Taberner was equal to the closerange header.
Good footwork by Marcus Cusani saw him sweep down the byline but his effort was straight into the keeper’s hands. Jack Lenehan then curled over the bar from a free-kick.
Grantham’s Williams then had a similar set piece at the other end but Taberner had no trouble.
