MICKLEOVER were left wishing they capitalised on an impressive first hour, before losing their 100 per cent home record this season.
The hosts couldn’t have asked for a better start, when within the first 30 seconds Andy Dales hit a volley from the edge of the box, lobbing the visiting keeper and finishing in the bottom far corner.
Dec Bacon nearly doubled the advantage inside ten minutes, when the Whitby defence saw a clearance sliced high and dropping to Bacon, before the danger was averted.
