■ TWO goals for Leon Johnson gave Prescot Cables their first league win of the season as the beat Ramsbottom at the IP Truckparts Stadium.
Cables took the lead as early as the third minute when Johnson exchanged passes with Alex McMilan before unleashing home a thunderous strike.
Cables could have been two up before half-time, but MacKenzie O’Neill was unable to convert a good chance. Cables were pegged back when Jamie Rainford scored a penalty after 64 minutes, with captain James Cooper shown a red for handling on the line.
