KEITH Emmerson’s late goal sent Hungerford through, despite a resilient display from Truro.
The hosts nearly took an early lead when Curtis Angell’s first-time cross was inches away from Ryan Seager and Nana Kyei.
Rhys Tyler’s cross then deflected kindly into the path of Warren Bentley who took on a first time shot that was blocked.
Matt Partridge’s diagonal pass found Kyei who breezed past Conor Riley-Lowe but his cross was intercepted by City keeper James Hamon.
