■ BOWERS & Pitsea progressed with a fine win at Bishop’s Stortford.
Max Cornhill broke the deadlock for the visitors, firing home on the half-volley into the roof of the net after Alexander Bentley’s cross was knocked down at the back post by Daniel Trendall.
Blues substitute Jack Thomas saw red for a strong tackle, despite appearing to win the ball.
James Baker came off the bench and had two great chances to level the tie up, but Mitchel Beeney was equal to all that the hosts could throw at him.
